Hair has been a life long passion for Dannica. In high school she was braiding, and installing extensions and already developing a reputation as an incredible hair stylist. Her senior year she interned under a stylist with over 20 years of experience. She decided to further her education by receiving her cosmetology license from Mitchell’s Academy in Cary, North Carolina. With extensive classroom and hands-on training, she began her career in hair.

She worked in a few hair salons and acquired an extensive list of loyal clientele. After a few years, the word got out that Lawrence was an exceptional stylist.

In 2016, she decided to venture onto an entrepreneurial journey founding the brand Elite Hair Group. For Dannica it is not just about styling hair, but about creating a memorable experience for her clients. She says being a great hair stylist is about developing a genuine relationship with your clients by learning who they are and empowering them through beautiful hair styles. Dannica’s priority is maintaining the integrity of her clients hair. She educates her clients on how to care for their hair to ensure long term healthy hair goals.

Currently, Dannica is developing a line of hair extensions and is running a private studio salon in Raleigh, North Carolina.
